The Demographic Window Closes
The first chapter of my book Economorphics deals with the closing of the ‘demographic window’. Taking things a bit further, in this Commentary piece for the Macdonald Laurier Institute I look at the implication for Canada of a closing window- and how the country can maybe open economic doors as that happens. Of course, this problem is a global one, not a Canadian one, which is what I write about in the book, although it is worth looking at each country in context (the U.S. has a tiny, and I mean tiny, bit more breathing room than Canada btw)
