Gen Z is Embracing Career Minimalism – and that Isn’t Necessarily Bad

Gen Z (the generation born between 1997 and 2012) is facing a lot, not all of it good, when it comes to the economy. With job security in question and AI changing work, many are skeptical about pursuing a traditional path up the career ladder and instead are looking to something that more resembles a lily pad. Some (mostly older generations) want to tag them as lazy, but in reality they may be making decisions that make sense for their generation, even if they do not mean taking on traditional management roles.
